The 3,500-hectare Boqueirão Farm, owned by Arno (father) and Zacarias (son) Schneider, includes 1,500 hectares of preserved land and 2,000 hectares dedicated to an integrated system of beef cattle breeding and teak forestry. Boqueirão Farm was one of those scoring highest under the Famato System in the Field Award, an initiative of the Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso (Famato) in partnership with the National Rural Learning Service (Senar-MT) and the Mato Grosso Institute of Agricultural Economics (Imea).
