Agriculture has big role to play in curbing greenhouse gas emissions 
17 October 2016, Rome--- 2016 marks the 40th anniversary for the Committee on World Food Security, which held its first session in 1976. The  Committee is the foremost inclusive international and intergovernmental platform for all stakeholders to work together to ensure food security and nutrition for all. As in previous sessions, the agenda of CFS 43 includes items that will reach consensus on important policy issues and the decisions will be taken on the future direction of the Committee’s work.
