Technicians and researchers from the National Institute for Agricultural and Forestry Innovation (INIAF) presented FAO Director-General QU Dongyu with some of the more than 1,000 potato varieties found in the country. Potatoes, a staple food for the population, are a key contribution from the Andes to improved nutrition.
