Agricultural assistance to 12 000 households of repatriated refugees in Euquater, Southern Kivu and Katanga regions - FAO Project OSRO/DRC/615/CHA. The overall objective of the project is to assist returning refugees to regain self-sufficiency through raising small livestock and preventing the spread of devastating epidemics with regular veterinary care. Refugees are reestablished within their regional communities and the project provides each family with four healthy goats and two veterinary visits per month to prevent the spread of disease.
