27 June 2018, Homs - Hama Governatorate, Syria - FAO, with the support of EU, supported 1000 farmers in Hama and Homs governorate by establishing two milk processing units managed by the local community. The units will produce sterilized milk and local cheese to meet the market's food needs. This intervention will secure 6000 farmers and their extended families with a sustainable source of income.
