04 March 2021, Vehari, Pakistan - A Pakistani boy Muhammad Waheed Ashraf, a child beneficiary and student of 10th class, who is involved in agriculture operations in the field to help his parents, displays a book featuring pictures of the children with caption ' Protect the Children from the Agricultural poisons' gives an interview at his village beside wheat crop field in Vehari in southern Punjab province on March 4, 2021. Waheed mostly worked with his parents in harvesting of crops, hoeing crops, irrigating fields and applying fertilizers to the crop. Women and children are particularly vulnerable, as they are involved in crop production and harvesting activities where they often inhale and touch hazardous pesticides.
