08 March 2018 Harare, Zimbabwe - FAO and the Government have been distributing pheromones traps to lure the male adult moths into sealed compartments. These traps serve as surveillance and early warning mechanisms that inform farmers of presence of the fall armyworm in their field for early and effective control. This trap is situated at the Governments department of Research and specialist services.
