Background Information
Gauri Bishwas and Sathi Mondal are the members of the female based CBO group i.e. Parkurshail Mohila Matshochashi Somittee was trained with Golda-Rice-Fish culture technology as a climate resilience intervention under project GCP/BGD/055/LDF . Their farm is located in Parkurshail village under the upazila of Bagerhat Sadar. They have produced large Indian carp along with giant crayfish in their pond. I took this photo of them harvesting the fish with the help of a group of fishermen hired by the CBO. Both are very happy to receive the catch from their breeding pond.
