Background Information
Dolan Bish was an artisanal fisherman who is relocating to fish during the rainy season from the nearby Krishna River located in Sardardanga village of Dema union under Bagerhat Sadar subdistrict. Received climate change resilient fisheries and aquaculture along with EAFM (Ecological Approach to Fisheries Management) training from the GEF Fisheries project (GCP/BGD/055/LDF) jointly organized by the United Nations FAO and the Department of Fisheries (DoF) , Government of Bangladesh . He knows a lot about the conservation of living aquatic organisms, which helps them to live safely on their land.
