Francisco Pedro, 29 and father of 3 holds some of the cowpeas he has saved for his next planting. In 2022, Pedro received 30KG of rice and 10 kg of cowpeas as part of the Emergency Food Security Program in Guinea-Bissau (PUSA-GB 2020-2023), a program funded by the World Bank, and implemented by FAO through the Government of Guinea-Bissau.
