15 December 2021, Viterbo, Italy - The Porcocinghiale (wild boar) is reared in the semi-wild at the Agriturismo il Marrugio, owned by Luigi de Simone. The animals are left free to feed naturally inside a 4-hectare enclosure populated by about a hundred specimens. The porcocinghiale is a pig with excellent nutritional characteristics, derived from the crossbreeding of the "cinta senese" with the wild boar. All of the farm's products are of an organic nature, certified by the control body authorised by the MIPAAF IT-BIO-007.
