30 December 2021, Lipari, Italy - The Papisca diner staff pours the cooked wine into the Spicchitedda dough, a Christmas sweet typical of the Aeolian Islands, in Lipari, north of Sicily. Spicchitedda is a sweet made with flour, almonds, walnuts, cooked wine, sesame, and sultana raisins. It is mainly consumed during the Christmas holidays and is part of the culinary tradition of the Aeolian Islands archipelago.
