10 June 2020, Lokichar, Kenya - An helicopter operated by joined collaboration between FAO Kenya and Government of Kenya lands in front of members of Kenya's NYS -National Youth Service- in Kapese Primary School grounds, Lokichar, Turkana County, Kenya. The National Youth Service -NYS- is an organisation under the Government of Kenya with the purpose of training and mentoring Kenya's youth through paramilitary and regimentation, national building programs and technical and vocational training. NYS has been an active party in the fight against desert locust.
