Prawn heads. - - Development of Aquaculture and Mariculture: MEX/87/018. This project, executed by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) aims to increase fish production with a major focus on prawn breeding. Assistance includes improved management of basins in the Sinaloa State and the establishment of an advanced technical assistance centre for the training of qualified support staff. The centre will identify cultivation models suitable for the Pacific Coast taking into account the economic, social and legal considerations of aquaculture development. Data banks specialized in fisheries and aquaculture are also planned.
