Pibor's Internally Displaced Persons (IDP) and surrounding areas
07 January 2012, Juba, South Sudan - Villagers preparing their possessions before leaving Fertait village and seeking refuge elsewhere, as there is nothing left for their survival. The conflict is deeply rooted in cattle raids that affect at least 60,000 internally displaced persons in need of basic services. Since the conflict started, more than 140 people wounded by the violence have been evacuated for medical attention and many more in need are still in hiding.
