SENEGAL 2020.  GCP /RAF/837/GFF
12 February 2020, Mbour, Senegal - Men are seen cutting up fish into pieces to eventually dry out and salt. Fish that is not sold or can't be transported is sent to be salted and dried for exportation to other West African countries. The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations(FAO) is leading a project aiming to improve fisheries governance and management arrangements and strengthen the seafood value chain with a view to improving environmental, social and economic benefits from fisheries in three countries in West Africa (Cabo Verde, Cote d'Ivoire and Senegal).
