8 December 2024. Bangkok, Thailand. FAO Director-General QU Dongyu is received by the Assistant Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Agriculture and Cooperatives (MOAC) Dr Pornthep Sritanatorn on his arrival to Thailand.

FAO Director-General QU Dongyu is in Thailand on a five-day mission. During his mission he will be visiting the National Hydro-informatics Data Center (NHC) located at the HII headquarters on Kasetsart University Campus. He will visit the Ban Saladin community to observe good practices in community water resource management in rice-fish pond systems and solar-power propellor aerators. DG will also be engaged in bilateral meetings with heads of delegations who have come to Thailand to attend the International Soil and Water Forum.
