28 December 2010, Tammoun - A view of greenhouse agriculture. An FAO Project supplying a water source for irrigation purposes has contributed to the success of the project and benefited the community.
FAO Project: OSRO/GAZ/706/JPN - Agriculture Revitalization Action Project. The project addresses the urgent need to support affected farmers and enable them to rapidly restore their agriculture activities. The project aims to contribute to improving rural livelihoods in the WBGS through restoring agriculture activities and farmers' employment via the implementation of intermediate interventions including emergency assistance and more sustainable activities. Four components have been designed under the project consisting of:
	զamp;#x9;Horticulture;
	զamp;#x9;Small ruminants;
	զamp;#x9;Marketing; and
	զamp;#x9;Capacity building.
