Another drought… Another famine…
This is nothing new.
Millions of people are on the verge of starvation…
Does anybody care anymore?
Sometimes it seems like nothing more than another distant headline competing for our attention.
This is not a headline. This is real life.
In a few years there will be 10 billion people on the planet...
How many more of us will go hungry then?
One food crisis after another… the number of hungry people across our planet on the rise.
And the causes? Droughts… floods… but also our wars… our conflict and violence.
This makes no sense… we are causing it.
So what kind of future is waiting for us?
You could almost say famine and hunger are man-made. But if this is true… Could we also be the ones to change things?
We have one food future, or no future at all. If we don’t change things, who will?
There’s enough food for everyone. We need to respect our food, the people who grow it, and the people who don’t have enough.
Imagine a future in which every person on earth could have nourishing food every day…
a future where leaving home could be a choice…
and where all farmers could sow seeds for a better, sustainable future.
What if everyone had the power to secure that future today?
There is only one future, and we have the power to choose what it looks like.
No matter who we are, or where we are… we all want the same thing.
Our actions are our future.
A Zero Hunger world is possible if we work together.
