Background Information
Strengthening Emergency Preparedness and Response to Food Crisis in the East and Horn of Africa (SEPAREF) is a multi-country project, whose Somalia component is funded by the government of Somalia through the African Development Bank. The project is implemented through three interconnected components: scaling up the production of early generation seeds to improve agricultural resilience, expanding and integrating digital platforms for early warning and anticipatory action, and strengthening national institutions for effective coordination and management.
