PANAMA, 2024: An indigenous Panamanian woman leads the digital transformation of the Ngäbe-Buglé region 
Comarca Ngäbe-Buglé, Alto Cedro. Adelina Sanchez is president of the Alto Cedro Women's Sustainable Artisan Agricultural and Livestock Organization (OPAMU, in Spanish). With FAO's support for digital transformation, her community is beginning to break down barriers to market its ñame and ñampí crops, high demand tubers in Panama.

Adelina Sánchez es presidenta de la Organización Agropecuaria Artesana Sostenible de Mujeres de Alto Cedro (OPAMU). Con el apoyo de la FAO para la transformación digital, su comunidad está comenzando a romper las barreras para comercializar su cultivo de ñame y ñampí, tubérculos de gran demanda en Panamá.
