Chiquimula. Guatemalan farmer and young leader Ingrid RamÃrez and her family, with FAO support, implemented actions for more efficient water management. This allowed them to diversify their production and found the Maya Chortà Cooperative with their community, improving their family income and helping their community.

La agricultora y joven lideresa guatemalteca, Ingrid RamÃrez, junto a su familia, con el apoyo de la FAO, implementaron acciones para un manejo más eficiente del agua. Ello les permitió diversificar su producción y fundar con su comunidad la Cooperativa Maya ChortÃ, y asà mejorar sus ingresos familiares y ayudar a su comunidad.
