18 March 2025 Abronakro, Ivory Coast. Koffi Adjehi, a fish farmer specializing in tilapia farming, feeds tilapia at his FISH4ACP farm in the village of ABRONAKRO, Abengourou Department, Ivory Coast. FISH4ACP, Promotes the sustainable growth of the tilapia sector in CĂ´te d'Ivoire to support the country's goal of meeting national demand by 2031. It works towards a more structured, sustainable, and resilient tilapia sector that generates jobs and business opportunities without adding pressure on the environment. FISH4ACP is an initiative of the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS) that aims to ensure the sustainability of fisheries and aquaculture value chains in Africa, the Caribbean, and the Pacific. FISH4ACP is implemented by FAO and funded by the European Union (EU) and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
