Established with investment from the Jharkhand Opportunities for Harnessing Rural Growth (JOHAR) programme – an initiative of the Government of Jharkhand, supported by FAO and financed by the World Bank – the facility produced 350 litres of high-quality oil in 2023, now sold across the state. JOHAR has set up five such units in Jharkhand, generating strong returns for farmers.
