Background Information In his role, Deepak leads the implementation and strategic management of JOHAR, coordinating efforts across Jharkhand to enhance rural livelihoods through sustainable agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and non-timber forest product initiatives. Under his leadership, JOHAR works closely with communities, government departments, and programme partners FAO and the World Bank, to drive inclusive growth and resilience for over 200 000 rural households and almost 4 000 producer groups across the state.
