12 November 2011, Burera District, Rwanda - Water flowing to the Ntaruka Hydroelectric Power Plant. While the Hydroelectric plant is considered climate friendly, the fragile soils on these slopes are easily eroded, causing declines in crop and livestock productivity that further push farmers to seek new land for cultivation.
