European Union Food Facility and Purchase for Progress Project
02 July 2011, Kibanga - A tractor driveing along a road that was partly rehabilitated by an FAO project to allow the passage of large vehicles in the village. As part of the GCP-P4P Project, farmers have received improved-variety seeds, tools, and technical training to help them increase the yield of their crops. FAO has also helped them get organized into farmers groups, built infrastructures (markets and warehouses), and rehabilitated roads to help get produce to markets.
