05 July 2011, Katutu - Men from the Bwino Farmer's Organization loading sacks of corn into a communal granary managed by the group. As part of the Purchase for Progress (P4P) Project, FAO supplies farmers with tools, seeds, and technical training to help them increase their production. WFP then purchases some of the corn from communal granaries or individuals, and either sells it on the market, or uses it for its programs.
