03 June 2015, Milan - Zero loss or waste of food - The Lake Arena hosts the UN Space dedicated to the fifth element of the Zero Hunger Challenge: Zero loss or waste of food. Each year 1.3 billion tons of food is loss or wasted. You will discover the UN's work in preventing the unacceptable squandering of food. The United Nations is present with 18 multimedia installations, easily recognizable by their giant blue spoons. These UN Spaces are located in various areas of the site along the itinerary dedicated to the theme "The Zero Hunger Challenge ՠUnited for a sustainable world". You can join our challenge and make the UN itinerary more interactive and educational by playing "Get to Zero", available for free for Android and iOS.
