Italy, 2015. UN at Expo Milano
03 June 2015, Milan - Cereals & tubers - Five grains- rice, wheat, maize, millet and sorghum - provide 60% of the world's food energy intake. The UN space in the Cereals and Tubers Cluster illustrates the importance of promoting agricultural biodiversity and consuming a variety of crops instead of utilizing limited number of species. The UN is present with 18 multimedia installations, easily recognizable by their giant blue spoons. These UN Spaces are located in various areas of the site along the itinerary dedicated to the theme "The Zero Hunger Challenge ՠUnited for a sustainable world". Join our challenge and make the UN itinerary interactive and educational by playing "Get to Zero", available for free for Android and iOS. Find the QRCode on the UN Spaces to play, FAO Milano Expo.
