GUATEMALA 2018. Strengthening the School Feeding Program in the framework of the Hunger-Free Latin America and the Caribbean Initiative 2025
Guatemala, Tejutla, June 2018
Children playing after the School Feeding. The food that students receive is prepared by volunteer mothers who have been trained in various subjects, such as: nutrition, handling and preparation of food, good hygiene practices, among others.
The 20 school menus that are prepared in this school are adapted to the area, that is, they are culturally relevant.
The food prepared comes from family farming.
