20 November 2018, Kitale, Kenya - Victorian Foods' CEO James Ambani displays some fish skin already tanned at Victorian Foods Fish Factory. Fish leather clothing and accessories are unique and extremely durable, while also being a far lighter material than cow leather. Victoria Foods employs more than 300 locals to fish the perch, which is then filleted and transported through cold storage to Kitale, where it is processed and shipped around the country and abroad either as fillets or leather products..©FAO/Luis Tato
