During the months of April and May, nine fellows from Argentine, Iran, Israel and Pakistan attended a Seminar on Pasture Management on Arid and Semi-Arid Zones in the USSR. It was arranged by the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), within the framework of the Expanded Program of Technical Assistance of the United Nations and the Specialized Agencies. Participants were offered an intensive course of lectures, laboratory demonstrations and field visits.
