28 April 2017, Sagana, Kirinyaga county, central Kenya - A cook fries tilapia fish at Roots restaurant in Sagana township, which sources fish from local fish farmer, William Kiarie's Green Algae Highland fish farm. Green Algae Highland fish farm is a beneficiary of FAO's Africa Solidarity Trust Fund (ASTF), an innovative fund to improve agriculture and food security across the continent, breeding exotic and indigenous species of Tilapia and Catfish alongside ornamental species that include Goldfish and Cod for sale in the Kenyan market.
