The Food and agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) and the Economic Commission for Latin America are carrying out a joint, long-term study of production trends and production costs in the Latin-American coffee-producing countries. The investigation, started in El Salvador, is now (December 1956) continuing in Colombia and may be continued in further major coffee-producing countries.
