The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) organized in Thailand a National Centre for Grading and Inspection of Rice and the Economics of Rice storage operations. Milling and storage processes were demonstrated on laboratory sized machines, including a rice mill, by Mr. P.W. Hoffman, FAO instructor.
