Greenhouse Floriculture Technology for Small-scale Farmers - TCP/IND/6713: The objective of the project is to introduce low-cost greenhouse floriculture technology as the basis for involving small growers in modern commercial floriculture production. Greenhouse floriculture technology packages were developed for small-scale farmers, training workshops were organized, pilot greenhouses were installed and simple accounting systems were developed to assist in monitoring the cost-effectiveness of their businesses. Four hundred and fifty local farmers were trained in greenhouse techniques. The farmers conduct all production operations as a family activity with low investments.
