Background Information
As of September 1, the latest FAO-UNOSAT satellite images indicate that heavy vehicle tracks, razing, shelling, and other conflict-related pressures have damaged 67.6 percent of Gaza’s cropland and significantly damaged agricultural infrastructure across the Strip.
