Zimbabwe. ACP MEAs 3 Programme and Farmer Field School (FFS) 
The EU-funded ACP MEAs 3 Programme in St. Lucia, implemented through FAO, aims to strengthen environmental governance and sustainable management of natural resources. The program focuses on building capacity, enhancing policy frameworks, and promoting the implementation of Multilateral Environmental Agreements (MEAs) to address environmental challenges and support sustainable development in the region.

“When we farm, we use local traditional methods, for pest control, such as the mukonde tree. We dry the mukonde tree, then we burn it into ashes. We then mix the ash with water and apply it using knapsack sprayers. We have also learnt that, through sound agricultural production you can provide better schooling for your children and become better Zimbabweans.”
