Jorgeana Gomes de Pina, 27, a cook from Ribeira da Barca, prepares traditional dishes in her kitchen. Together with her husband, a local tour guide, she runs a family activity that connects visitors with Cabo Verdean culture through local gastronomy.

Through the CEESSP project (FVC/GLO/224/MUL), FAO supports small-scale producers like Jorgeana to improve their access to resources and opportunities for sustainable livelihoods in the face of climate change.
