15 October 2025, Brussels, Belgium. On 15 October 2025, the Manneken-Pis statue in Brussels was dressed as an FAO field expert to mark FAO’s 80th anniversary and World Food Day 2025 to honour its global mission for the Four Betters, thanks to a tribute organized by the FAO Liaison Office in Brussels to FAO field experts around the world with support from the City of Brussels. The costume itself, inspired by the kit usually worn by FAO field experts, was tailored by Esmeralda Ammoun, a renowned designer for the Belgian Royal House.
