In October 2025, FAO Rwanda held a key sustainable agricultural mechanization event: a two-week training for 40 Farmer Field School (FFS) facilitators in collaboration with the Rwanda Cooperative for Agriculture (RICA). The  focus to equip facilitators with skills in sustainable agricultural mechanization, with an emphasis on using mechanization as a business opportunity.
