09 April 2022, Baney, Equatorial Guinea - Agricultural student Alfonso Nzo Abaga, 31, looks on in a field with pepper plants at a farm with demonstration plots for agricultural students to learn different crop management techniques. The farm is supported by the FAO and receives direct technical assistance from FAO staff. Abaga is a food engineer working as a mentor to younger students to help them learn better techniques for farming, hoping these initiatives will help grow the agriculture sector in the country.
