Poultry Farm. Italy, 2021
22 December 2021, Marta, Italy - Chickens walk past olive trees in the Pollo San Bartolomeo poultry farm. The farm leaves the animals free, thus breeding free-range breeds eating grass, sprouts and insects outdoor. Meat processing waste and droppings are reused to produce biogas. Moreover, the olive grove shelters the chickens from the sun and protects them from birds of prey, and chickens contribute to the fertilization of plants.
