03 September 2020, Gaibandha, Bangladesh -MD. Sorwer's (48) wife Rehena feeding cow milk to her son Bayjit (8) at home in Dokkhin Digholkandi, Holudia union 3. MD. Sorwer's is the beneficiary of FAO's cattle feed distribution in flood emergency. He said, I was a proud farmer with my own land but this river eaten all my land, only two bigha land survived. Somehow surviving with this land and some livestock. This flood has done us a lot of damage, I planted jute but it was destroyed in the flood, I planted paddy in one bigha of land, that too was destroyed by the flood. We have benefited a lot from the feed provided by FAO. The health of the cows is much better than before. Now the cow will give a lot more milk. Some milk we eat and some milk we sell in the market.
