Is trade liberalization a threat to food security? The question was discussed at a HIGH-LEVEL ROUND TABLE ON AGRICULTURAL TRADE REFORMS AND FOOD SECURITY attended by the Heads of the WTO and FAO. The Director-General of the WTO, Dr. Supachai Panitchpakdi, argued against what he called misconceptions.
