Represantives, Aliu Djau village
26 June 2023 - Sintchan Botché, Gabú, Guinea Bissau
Amado Seide, chief of Sintchan Botché village (left), and Aliu Djau, chief of Manporo village, are relieved that the members of their villages are no longer in conflict.
The conflict between the members of the Sintchan Botché and Manporo villages has been resolved within the framework of the FAO & Guinea Bissau implemented, and EU funded, N'tene Terra project. Specifically, N'tene Terra focuses on building the capacity of land administration institutions, traditional leaders, and communities in land governance and land rights, with a particular emphasis on gender aspects.
