Background Information
Aquaculture for Local Community Development Programme (ALCOM): GCP/INT/555/SWE. The profitability and economic viability of rice-cum-fish farming was tried out during the rainy season of 1992/93 in Luapula Province, Zambia. It was a collaborative effort on the part of the Fisheries Department and the Agriculture Department of Luapula.
